The TC-28 hand-held fibre microscope is used for fibre penetration into the connector to assess the quality and verify that the connector surface is intact and clean. The instrument can be used for quality control, especially for female cable connectors. The device is used to check the cleanliness of splices on fibre optic panels directly from the front panel adapters using radar.
