Used for etching the copper surface of switch plates. Chemical formula FeCl3*6H2O.
Copper deposits on the plate can be marked using a drawing pencil or by exposing a UV-sensitive lacquer-coated switch plate to light (a developer is also required). The etching takes some tens of minutes.
- ready-to-use solvent (35-45%)
- the warmer the solution, the faster the process
- the same solution can be used several times
- the substance is very messy
- take the spent solution to the appropriate waste collection point
This solution does not need any additional water and is ready to use as is.

Tip for removing stains from surfaces and clothes - ask your pharmacist for oxalic acid granules.
