Shelly Pro 3EM

Shelly Pro 3EM is a three-phase energy meter that measures energy in three individual phases up to a load of 120 A with 99% accuracy using current transformers. The device reports real-time accumulated energy, as well as instantaneous voltage, current, and power factor on a phase-by-phase basis. It stores data in non-volatile memory, which can be retrieved for up to 60 days at 1-minute intervals.

Shelly Pro 3EM is designed to be installed on a DIN rail and comes with three current transformers. The device reports real-time power measurement (W), voltage measurement (V), current measurement (A), and power factor (PF), and it can store measurements locally on the device for up to 60 days and up to 365 days when connected to the Shelly Cloud application. The device also complies with the requirements of IEC 62053-21 standard with accuracy equivalent to class B (maximum 1% deviation). Shelly Pro 3EM has a built-in real-time clock that maintains the time and date if the connection to the SNTP server is lost.

Shelly Pro 3EM can be connected to the internet or a local 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Additionally, the device has built-in Bluetooth, like all Pro and Plus devices, which enables the use of Shelly Pro 3EM as a gateway to other Shelly Bluetooth devices. The device operates locally without a connection to Shelly Cloud, but it is recommended to activate it for easier data storage and enhanced functionality. The device can also communicate via MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. Furthermore, Pro 3EM supports the MODBUS protocol, allowing for easy and quick deployment in existing industrial installations.

The device is equipped with 2nd generation hardware, which includes a powerful ESP32 processor and enhanced security features such as overheating, overcurrent, overvoltage, and overload protection. It also enables the use of scripting functions for advanced and customized operations, as well as range extension with additional devices.

Note that Shelly Pro 3EM does not have a built-in dry contact relay like the old Shelly 3EM. Instead, a Shelly Pro Add-On module can be connected for three-phase switching.

Shelly smart home products support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant virtual assistants. In addition to the mentioned ones, several other smart home systems/platforms are supported (verify compatibility on a product-specific basis). Shelly products connect to a wireless Wi-Fi network and do not require a separate home automation controller to operate.
